Hey guys, SUCCESS!!! Found a black pair of suede 'Future Cats', which I didn't like that much on light colors since the offset laces and pointy toes looked weird IMO, but don't stand out in black at all. And as expected from a 'successor', they're definitely better than the 'Speed Cats' now that I had a chance to try both (plus they cost the same). They're supremely comfortable for driving, which is their purpose, thanks to their more cushioned heel. And so far, very comfortable for walking too. And all for $30, so can't complain. Run to your Puma outlet before they run out. Thanks again to everybody for being so helpful. This is a great forum. Take care.

I just bought my 2nd pair of Pilotis, love the shoes. Had no issues with the 1st pair at all, I just wore them out. They're better as 'shoes' than my Puma's, and equal for driving. Not a fan of the Puma's, they're just not as comfortable for walking around. I do like them for driving though.

Pumas. I have speed cats, future cats, and Roma's. Roma's make a good daily sneaker and driving shoe. I have been wearing them for a decade or so. Speed cats are a great driving shoe, but lacking support for a daily walker. Furute cats are good driving shoe, great feedback, but a unique design of the sole which I do not like.

I don't know about men's Tod's, but I have a pair of women's "driving shoes" and they are more like fashion shoes will little bumps on the bottom. I'd rather drive in my Cole Haan granny looking loafer shoes.

Futurecats only look good in black. I paid $80 for mine 2 years ago. :( But I wear a weird size so I could only buy them from a place that had them in "humongous". 30 bucks is a steal.

I personaly have 3 pr of Piloti's,Monza's,Prototipo's and G16's. I have yet to see any problems and i wear the Monza's almost daily to work in and i'm on my feet maybe 8hrs a day at work. True they do run smaller than normal shoes, but they are very comfortable. The only things i've noticed is that wet traction (wet floors) leaves something to be desired,i'm guessing because of tread design, and also with the relatively thin sole walking on rough surfaces (very rough gravel) and such, you feel every nook and cranny! As far as walking on smooth pavement, concrete, grass or driving they are great,JMHO.

Guys, thanks for all the kind words and criticism of our shoes. I'll take a chance at being flamed here.

We are expanding our product lines every season with new styles in leathers that combine our patented Roll Control heel with muted leather uppers for a less athletic profile. You can see them on Piloti.com in the Luxury Product section.

For those of you who have had problems, we have a warranty on all our shoes. If you've had problems within 6 months of purchase, please contact your retailer or our customer service staff.

    I wish you all well.

    Cheers,

Kevin--you responded to an email I sent a few years ago about a shoe failure. You told me to return the shoes with a copy of the email and if it was determined to be a manufacturer's flaw you would replace them. So, being a guy, I put them in a shoebox and into the front closet they went for the next 3 years! I finally got around to shipping the shoes, and no more than 3 weeks later did a replacement pair arrive. I posted a thread commending Piloti and I love the shoes. Thank you!

I have a pair of Piloti's that I picked up for $20 at Ross last year. They have been worn when I am running around Laguna Seca helping out. I actually find them to be rather comfortable. Walking arounf that place for 4 days straight from 6am to 12am they have been really great.

I've tried all of these shoes (except Sparco) and like Puma the best for driving.
