    Group drive down through the Florida Everglades to Everglades City where the Stone Crabs are harvested. We will eat lunch at a very quaint, family owned restaurant that has amazing Stone Crabs and some of the best homemade key lime pie! On the way back, you can stop at some of the Indian reservations, wildlife lookouts, the country’s smallest Post Office, and other points of interest. Separate checks for lunch. Great opportunity for both east coast and west coast enthusiasts to get together! Two east coast meeting spots for the drive down: Leave Weston (I-75 and Indian Trace @ Citgo Gas station) at 9:00am, and leave Miami (Chrome Ave. and Tamiami @ Gas station) at 10:00am. Lunch at 12 noon. RSVP required for accurate headcount!!

    Hmmm....eat stone crabs or see how fast either the CS or the Ultima will go on a 2 mile airstrip with no risk of getting a ticket....decisions...decisions....:D

    I know the CS and the Ultima can go much faster than I can............

    And, yes, the decision is difficult...........but, the reality is that all you can eat stone crabs, or trying to see how fast the Ultima can go............. either way, there's a good chance of cr*pping my pants on the 22nd..................... LOL ;)

    No, not this time....... This time, we're meeting at Indian Trace and I-75. Go west/north on I-75 towards Naples and exit on Indian Trace (1st exit after the I-75/I-595/Sawgrass interchange). There's a Citgo gas station on the South East corner of Indian Trace and I-75.

    Thanks to everyone who came out today!! It was great seeing some familiar faces and some new ones!!! Hope ya'll had fun!!!


    We had a great drive through the everglades to Triad Seafood, where we feasted on seafood and key lime pie!! And, on the way back, we even got to go to the airport runway event!!
