I'd like to thank everyone out there for sharing their expertise. I just purchased a 348 SS (#90) earlier this month and I have had to climb the "learning curve" and this forum has been indispensible. I'd like to share a summary of the resources that I have found via Ferrari Chat:
    1. For copies of manuals, filters, and detail products: Italian Car Parts (www.italiancarparts.com).
    2. For Agip SINT 2000: American Agip (800 992 9243)
    3. For parts Ferrari UK (www.ferrari-uk.com)
    4. For detailed descriptions for the full range of Ferraris: www.qv500.com/indexferrari.htm .

If you have your favorite resources, please share. Cheers, Jim

Jim, you misunderstood the request - not pictures of the 348. EVERYONE has a Ferrari. We want to see pictures of the GTV. :)

You mean that mean that extremely rare collector's item that'll cost $20k to restore. By the way sorry about the resolution of the photos. I took these photos off the Ebay advertisement for my F-car and they are very high resolution photos (I use the first one for my wallpaper on my computer). I tried to upload the original photos (800×600) but when I tried, I got a message indicating that the photo files were too large and that the largest size for uploading was (640×640). So I "resized" them using Microsoft Photo and I was able to upload, but the resolution was poor. I am not sure what to do. When it gets green here, I'll take some new shot with the (640×640) resolution and post them. Cheers, Jim

What you meant to say was: "You mean that mean that extremely rare collector's item that'll cost $20k to restore and after that $20k restoration it will still be a $13k car."

Ah, yes - the passion of owning an older Italian car.

Early '70s Alfa Romeo GTV. One of the coolest older Italian cars around. Jim has one.

That is actually my "marketing" idea for ebay. Have a freind who was willing to help take some pics, and it actually worked on most items. Huge traffic to the auctions and some pretty good results/$. I had to have an excuse to tell the wife!
