    I live in Winter Haven and never heard or seen this. If you look farther in the posts it states the owner:

    According to Polk county records, the owner is Daniel Duerson - he's a dentist out of St Pete., Florida, so this may be a weekend place. He bought it back in 1998 for $150,000. The record address is 2080 Lake Hamilton Dr. Winter Haven, FL 33881.

    It also says his 17 yr old son was good go kart racer so I'm sure thats what it was used for.
