Where did you first hear about FerrariChat.com?

At NSXPrime. It seems that a lot of NSXers dream about (and some own) Ferraris and lurk here now and then.

 

word of mouth, 6+ years later.

 

Last time we had a thread like this, I said Google. This time I'll just say that I attempted to contact Enzo one night via a Ouija board and was redirected here instead.

I have no recollection AT ALL of how I found Fchat.

I'm guessing that it may have been a reference from an Alfa Bulletin board I frequent.

That's how I remember it, but hell, Old-Timers is kicking in for me Too much cLyDE for my tastes and someone mentioned a new-fangled web forum and then this dyno day thing happened, and my life went downhill from there

 

Rob's banner on the 328 back in the summer of 2001 at MSR during the FCA national meet, but I didn't sign up until Sept 2001.

I believe I was searching for maintenance information on a Ferrari 348. Most likely Google.

 

Google search when looking for info/resources/reviews prior to making a purchase.

 

Gathering (Googling) info as I was gearing up to pull the trigger on my life-long dream, a 308.

Lurked for a long time first. I remember being so excited with my first post: an answer to a question regarding a rare F-book that i had. I thought... cool... i actually helped someone in the Ferrari world.

Moved to a neighborhood and introduced myself to a forum member because I saw his 355 sitting in his garage. The rest is history.

 

I think someone told me about it, when I was driving the 355.

I'm not positive, but I think I saw Rob's video of him racing the 355 or an RX8 and he tapped a Ferrari on the back bumper on the track. Correct me if I am wrong Rob!

Was watching the Lance Armstrong Overhauling episode and I Googled the name of the shop that did the work on Lance's car. A link to the Texas section of FChat popped up and I've been hooked ever since.

 

Ad in Forza. Immediately went to take a look and registered.

 

Google, doing internet research on Fcar ownership and maintenance costs. I was a signed up a free membership until this past year, when I went silver.

 

When I purchased my Ferrari from cauley Ferrari salesman told me of site.

 

I used the Google Internet machine looking for a new clutch when I came across FerrariChat.

Not only did I join the forum and got what I wanted.........I joined and have NEVER looked back!

FerrariChat has ruined my relationship with my Fiance, wrecked my career at work, destroyed my sex life and CRUSHED my hopes and dreams!!

But I love each and everyone of you!! Thanks for making FerrariChat a great community and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

 

Sounds like the same for many of us denizens of F-Chat ....................
