wow truely an amazing improvment! i think the mirrors would look out of place with out a couple other carbon bits to go with them.
looks totally different car ! CF mirrors is a good idea to improve the look of the car too , I think, to match the color of the wheels ..
J- Were those 430 wheels or Novitecs you took off your 360? Cannot tell from the photos. Am looking for Novitecs for my 575M. Taz Terry Phillips
Stock 430 wheels... I caught the edge of the Pavement and tore the tire and slightly bent the inside of the 430 rim. A can opener job... It forced me to start looking for Stradale wheels... I like them both but it does change the look of the car...
Not OEM but something to consider. http://www.macarbon.com/store/360-cgt-michelotto-style-mirrors-243.html
J- Thanks. if you ever damage a wheel again, these guys have never seen a wheel they could not repair. They are really good, probably the best in the world by reputation. Those new wheels look extremely attractive, by the way. It really does transform the car. I think the 360 is better looking than the 430, especially the rear end. Scud looks pretty good, though. Anyone Ever ordered these....How close are they to OE... I am ready to pull the trigger, I think they look great.
Not close to the OEM Stradale mirrors, very small & compact compared to OEM, different angles (driver & passenger side) OEM's are the same angles and remember they are not electric operated, but other then that go for it, MAcarbon ( John ) really put together a nice product... Here are a few more shots... The newest member of the family is a 3.0 RS Clone. Re- built for the 3rd time... ( only once by me ). Stripped a 75 Carrera Chasis, Tangerine paint, Turbo flares and brakes, original 3.8 liter RS varoram power plant. ( 300 HP 2150 Lbs ), Short 915 gear box, 9's and 11's by 15's original RSR wheels... The car is as fast as the 360. Will out pull my 997 GT 3 from 50 to 110... Fun, Fun, Fun... Just picked it up tonight..I am a Porsche guy, but I love the 360. Install was done by a local interior/leather shop ( Ferrari & Maserati Pro ) here in So.Cal. BTW sweet collection of Porsche's, I'm a big fan also, still have my '97 C2S.....and the GTS for the family drives.
Yes, I have a problem...9 Total, I have been hooked for 15 Years...No kids just cars. Had all 3 RS cars under the same roof 73, 92, 95. had to sell my 993 RS (95 silver car ) and my 73 RS to fund a vacation home. Too much Iron that was to valuable to drive... I miss them but enjoy Mexico much more...All I need is a Rally 911 to fill the Garage in Mexico... 964rs- you have a truely amazing collection of cars! Is that a mastercraft i spy hidden amongst your toys? Oh, your wheels look great, but there's just something really nice about a 360 with 430 rims on.....
No, not a Mastercraft... I went with a Tiege. I have no local dealer for Mastercraft... The Tiege puts a nice 4 foot wake.. At almost 40 I had to change gears from Wake boarding to Wakesurfing... Way more user freindly on the body...
Great cars. I was just going to say nice Tige. I love Tige's but I pulled the trigger on a Malibu last year. Great fun in the summer. Wanted to post one of my favourite pics from the summer too. Can't breat wakeboarding. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
