    BTW, Goober hows the count going??? YOU were doing such a good job mate, he was almost at 2000 when I left a few weeks ago. :)

    After 4 pages of unrelated crap, time for an update.

    This work was done at least 12 months ago; but I never got around to posting the pics. When I bought the car I had a pre purchase inspection performed by Dixon's, the local franchised F-Dealer at the time. They also did a full fluid change and service which was paid for by the dealer who sold me the car. One of the things that they found was a minor leak in the oil pump. The oil pump uses a whole lot of rubber O ring seals which I ordered for the job at a later date. The service manager also told me that he had tightened the drain plug as much as he could as it was leaking. Well about all he managed to do was create a small hairline crack in the casting around the plug. This did not become evident until some time after I had bought the car and by that time Dixon's were no longer the Ferrari agent...................

    Eventually I got sick of the oil stains on the nice garage floor and Phil Hughes rebuilt the oil pump using the seals that I had ordered originally from Dixon's. The pics show the oil pump being rebuilt and the modified drain plug from a Boxer used to fix the problem caused by the dealer..
