So it's like a targa too? The top section comes off and the back section can go up and down? Is that right? Really looks nice. John
Yes, the back section moves up and down, upper part being hard. Much better looking than the usual all-cloth rag top.
....................the freeway shot was taken through the back window of an SLR. If you look closely you can see an F40, Diablo, 355, Aston Martin DB7, C6 Corvette and Maserati QP in the picture. Directly behind me was a brand new Maser GT. We definitely made an impression on I-5. Fun trip to Cannon Beach 08. Very Nice Shots! I love the one with all the cars on the freeway! That Testarossa looks pretty beautiful!
The most fun was watching the F40 blast off repeatedly. The young lad in the passenger seat had a ride he will never forget!
I don't care what anybody says, I like the white, especially with the 512 wheels. I think I'm going to convert my rear bumper to Euro, a much cleaner look.
Testarossas are absolutely beautiful cars. I might be getting my hands on one soon, although it is in rough shape. This probably is not the right thread to ask questions in, but is there any place where I can purchase the 85-86 single driver (left) side mirror that mounts halfway up the A-pillar? Might as well begin with the simple things I would need, thank you for any help.
Here are a few more pics of the Testarossa convertible in Austin. I found out that the targa portion of the top is electrically operated. The rear glass window slides up and down with the targa panel.
