Before I spring for a new Paasche flow pencil to restore the white lines my rear 308 & QV badges, does anyone have a source recommendation or one they are looking to get rid of?

    Bob,

I'd think you don't need a flow pencil to fix the badge. Go to a hobby store, get some Testors enamel paint (white gloss) and a couple of appropriate brushes.

Have a cloth damp with paint thinner ready, fill in the lines as best as you can and wipe the badge edges after painting as the white part that gets painted is recessed, if I remember correctly.

While in that hobby store you can ask for paint pens or markers. There is an extra fine point available, I believe the brand is Sanford. It is a solvent based paint, enamel I think, and the tip is a hard fiber material that can fit in the groove of the badge.

I think you're right Warren. I already have that Testors white. I'll try that out.

    Thanks guys.

I think I've seen them on Ebay at a reasonable price.
