...just curious. My favorite track in Race '07 and GTR-2. Would love to take my
328 there to run it for real.

Anyone here ever actually done that? What car and what was your lap time?
Best ever I believe is 1:23 in an F1 car. My personal best in Race '07 is 1:52 in
    a Lambo, 1:58 in a 360. But what's the REAL DEAL like?

[edit] there's some great YouTubes of guys on motorcycles doing it as weekend
warriors - but alas haven't found any personal cars on Monza.

I went to Europe a few years ago and probably visited over 20 race tracks as I was passing them.

Of note, I drove the Nurburgring twice, and climbed the old banking at Monza where I held on for dear life and posed for a photo. Can't wait to go back one day ;)

My sister had a '79 Chevy Monza that she bought from Hertz in the winter of '80........I beat the crap out of that car when she wasn't looking.

I raced there once, in the Monza Lotteria, which at the time was a round of the Italian F3 Championship. That was an adventure.

I rode a vespa on the track the day after the 1989 GP.. and the morning of the gp, walked the banking... had to hop the fences do that.

wish they would rehab the banking... and save it.
