front boot, under the removable panels over the wheels. US models are on pass. side. Push down on the panel while pulling up on the knobs.

Your knobs unscrew? Seriously, the knobs on my access panel just pull up.

The knobs on my 355 also are screw based.

On my past '95, it was the pull up knobs,
on my current '98, it has the screw knobs.
I can't seem to remember if the '95 had the horsey on the knobs
    like the '98, though.

I just checked and the 95 does have the 'horsey' on the knobs as well.
    That is strange.....why the change?
Certainly the 'pull up design' is more user friendly than a screw type????

Maybe the screws were more reliable/cost effective? The pull knob design seems a little janky on my 95.

My 97 has the pull knobs. A couple of them get jammed every once in a while.

I prefer a screw to just a pull myself.

I am really glad I 'stumbled' on the battery switch. I would have been wondering why the He** I can't get any juice when I go to start this thing up soon. I checked today, found the switch and it was turned off by the previous mechanic.
