I stop by every day looking at fantastic cars and reading about the real owners and their cars. I actually don't post much because I normally don't have anything relevant to add- Most of what i would normally say has been said before.

Hello all. I've been lurking around here for bout a year now just trying to learn more bout these spectacular cars. Been a fan since i saw my first episode of Magnum PI back in early 80's. Own a 97 MB e-class that I enjoy fixing up. I've made owning a Ferrari as 1 of 100 must-things-to-do before I die. Really like the 308s, 328s, and newer 360, 430s. But for value, wouldn't mind picking up a 456 gt too. Great site!! and hope to see some F-cars if they have any meets in San Diego area.

I probably don't qualify as a true Lurker, as I have made a couple of posts during my short time on this site, but I thought I should introduce myself properly. I am a resident of the Tampa Bay area and am a former Fcar owner - a 1989 or 1992 (can't remember the year) Modial convertible that I had while living in Germany and Switzerland. When I moved back to the US, it didn't make sense to have it converted, so I sold it with a heavy heart. I've been back now for 10 years, am retired, and own a '08 Gallardo Spyder, '04 500 SL, '04 745LI BMW, and a '87 El Camino customized with side pipes for Home Depot runs. I'm looking to trade the Lambo for a 575 Superamerica, and this site has helped a lot in my education about that car.

I'll be sure to announce the acquisiton on this site when I finally find the SA that I am looking for.

    Hello everyone,
My name is Brian Hamilton and I live in central Texas. Used to live in Austin, but got married and moved away (to Brownwood), you know how the story goes. Anyway, I'm a huge car guy, especially exotics, and ESPECIALLY FERRARIS!! The F40 is my dream car and I will own one some day. I have been lurking here for a while watching a couple of threads that interest me like the Turbine Powered TR, and the 308 V12 conversion. Yeah, I'm that kind of guy who looks for the most radical and amazing conversions and just eats them up. This forum seems to be a great place with a bunch a of great people. I also frequent GT40s.com because that's another of my dream cars. I don't own either, but will own both someday. LOL I just started a Real Estate career, so if there's any other agents on this forum who would be willing to help a newbie (on many levels) out, I'd appreciate it. Look forward to hanging out here with you all.

    Thanks,

    Brian

Hi everyone my name is Dusty, I am 21 and I go to Lynchburg College in Virginia. I am a senior accounting major and will be graduating this fall. I have always loved cars and now that I will be making money I am starting to see the possibilities of ownership int he Ferrari family. I really like the 308 GTS QV and think it would make a great intro car from what I have read so far. I currently own and drive a 2001 BMW 330Ci which was one of my dream cars when I was in my teenage years. I look forward to learning more about this hobby/addiction and meeting some of you all.

    Hi everybody,
My names Harry, and I live in the bay area in cali. I'm only 18 but i've been a car/ferrari nut for about 8 years and I spent my last three summers working for Tom Price at his personal car collection. He's got a pretty well-known 250 GTO (s/n 3943GT), a 250 Cal Spyder and a 275gtb/4 among many many others. I've been poking around this forum for awhile and I figured why not start participating, right? I look forward to talking to all of you, thanks!

Hello all, my name is Andrew and I'm a professional detailer. I have always appreciated the provenance and driver-oriented aspect of Ferraris. Like much of my fellow lurkers, I do not own a Ferrari but do aspire to.

Hello to Fchat community, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dino and I live in western Canada. I have been lurking here for awhile and have enjoyed reading numerous post’s. I find this community is one of the best for insight and knowledge and a lot of humour as well! I am planning to get myself into a 348SS or F355 soon and would hope that some of you would be able to help the rookie out when the time comes.

    Cheers!!

    I'm an F-chat stalker.

Careful with uploading your Enzo photos, I'm the guy that has "fun" with them :D.

Anywho, my name is Chris and I love trucks with huge V-8's. So when I see exotics with V-12's and V-8's that rev all the way up to 8k it makes me a happy man. I want to own an F-430 one day!

Hey everyone, I've been a member here for a little over a year now but usually just read.

My name's Casey and I'm 15 years old and have a passion for cars but more so Ferraris. I hope to one day own an F355 but for now I'm just saving money and learning as much as I can from this forum.

I've always loved Ferrari and last year got to ride in a F355 Spider, it was a truly amazing experience!

I look forward to participating in this forum. :)

Hello Fchat, found this site through another forum. I normally hang in the Northwest section looking for car show type activities. I've been a car guy for a long time - mostly Mustangs. Currently own an 06 FORD GT and a few others. Always thought of the Ferrari as too fragile to drive much - but - the only thing that would get me out of my FGT is an ENZO!

all right, time for me to step out of the shadows, and am here now! found this forum a few weeks ago when I realized owning a 308 is a not so difficult thing for me! after growing up being a little kid dreaming of having one I am starting my education into the brand and model, so far I've gleamed quite a bit of info from past posts and feel this site will provide the needed answers to my own questions. after having spent the last twenty years spinning a wrench on everything from a 1925 model t to a 2008 mini cooper I am confident I can maintain/repair these wonderful cars{ and having been involved in drag racing in the past I've become used to big machine shop/parts bills!} so i've decided the only thing I have to fear is fear itself!

    Hello,

I'm here to lurk and learn about Ferrari's in preparation for future ownership. This will be my final quest, the oasis of my automobilship. I will buy the latest one in about 4-5 years from this day. I currently own a 09 911 Carrera. Hasta Luego!

    Hey Vitorio,
That is a beautiful 997. I couldn't help but notice the signs in the background. Isn't that the home of Popeye? ;)

My name is Cameron and I am in the Palm Springs area. I do not own, and most likely will never have the means to own a Ferrari, but I do appreciate them very much. I will be 26 in August. I used to be a Jaguar tech at a dealership out here. I have driven several Ferrari's as well as some other high end cars, and even a few "supercars". I left the automotive world to work for my dad's marble and granite company, and pursue natural stone restoration.

Within the last few years I have grown to appreciate these types of cars more, as I have always been into muscle cars, hot rods, etc. I build model cars, and my initial reason for joining was to find reference pictures for my 1/12 scale Testarossa build. After reading numerous posts over the last hour, I see the passion a lot of you have for the vehicles. I have always been under the impression that people that owned Ferrari's and such cars had money to burn. I am finding out that is not always the case.

I hope I am welcomed here, and I will be educating myself further on the history of Ferrari.

BTW I drive a 2006 GMC Sierra extended cab truck. So far I have removed the tranny and rebuilt the valve body with a shift kit, 3000 stall torque converter, camshaft with valve springs, headers, intake and exhuast with a custom PCM tune to accomodate. Future mods are Corvette intake manifold, LS2 throttle body and a modified accessory bracket to allow fitment. Probably not yoru cup of tea, but all the work was done by myself in my garage at home except the exhuast and tuning.

Hello, my name is Andy and I'm from Houston, Texas. Im 25 and own a retail/wholesale tobacco company. I currently do not own an Fcar, but do have a passion for those prancing horses. My next car purchase will be in the next coming month. I plan on buying a Maserati QP to get my feet wet as far as F1/Exotic cars. I joined this online community to learn more about Fcars and share my passion with other fellow enthusiats. Hopefully as my business grows, I will be able to afford the Fcar of my dreams.

Hey everybody, my name is Marcello (yes I'm of full Italian descent) I'm a 21 y/o student from Los Angeles currently living in Santa Cruz, CA for school. I'm currently studying to be an Applied Physics major and hope to graduate in almost a year from now assuming everything goes as planned. I've had a passion for Ferraris ever since I can remember. Some of my fondest memories involving Ferraris include a ride in my friend's dad's 456 GTA back when I was only 7 or 8 years old. I hope to eventually own a Ferrari one day, one that I could get my feet wet and maybe attempt to work on which, is partially why I'm here, to see if it is possible to work on something like a 308. My father will probably look for one in the future probably once my sister and I are out of college, he was tempted to buy a Dino for an excellent price when he was still living in Italy. He passed on it however and used the money to get his Ph.D. at UCLA and start his life here. Anyways, that's enough about me see you guys around.

I'm Chris and I'm a longtime Honda enthusiast--37 y/o, in the Honda "scene" since 1995. I lurk here just to learn more about the cars that I've admired for so many years.

I tend to let the people who know what they're talking about (the actual Ferrari owners) do the talking.

(I'm also a detailer in RI, for those who don't feel like putting a ton of hours into prettying up their cars)
