Saw these pics in the SoCal spotter's thread of a yellow Daytona Spyder. Anyone familiar with this car? Is this the real deal? http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150262&page=140
Im almost positive its a kit-car. I asked the question if it was a kit, but nobody answered. Pretty sure it is though.. -Chris
Looks right to me! It's not a kit car, it's the real deal. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Black windshied posts disappearing under fenders = corvette Body color posts = original The pics are hard to tell of this area, but if you blow them up, you can see a hint of yellow on the posts.
+1 on the pillar color. Additionally if you blow up the picture, even though not hi-res, the curvature of the headrest would imply the real deal.
Note the venetian blind sun visors. Original. Same color as my old coupe, since chopped to a spider in Europe. Taz Terry Phillips
This look's like a euro car and they had them attached under the rear bumpers, so they are easy to remove, if someone wants to, where as the USA cars had a central one. Borrani wheels are correct, the body work is correct, [ i have never seen a US made kit Daytona that the bodywork looked right] and the hood cover is correct [roof cover] and so are the ANSA exhaust's, Can't wait to get mine back!
