Another great day to fly here around San Antonio - pretty blue skies and 80 degrees wind down the runway...
Should be about the same for the fly-in, so everyone come on over!

Putted over to San Marcos - huge field pretty runways and a CAF sqn.

Look forward to seeing everyone on 28 Mar in Fredricksburg/Gillespie County. I'm even getting my plane polished up to look good!

Gah! I was just down that way a few weeks... well, months ago... for a Piper Cub "Fly-in". It was a great time, I was there by way of a recently restored 1946 classic (not mine), but it was much fun! I would imagine this will be the same. If I can get away for an extended weekend...

Hey Russ, this would be much easier for me if you'd just fly to Dallas and give me a ride in your plane! :)

That misses out on the fun of Fredericksburg though.

Russ, Jennie REALLY likes to eat at the Cotton Gin. Should we do that Friday night or whould you be interested Saturday night after the Officers Club?

I'd like to go Sat night with you guys to the Gin and the OClub later. I'll call and see if there is a tv for those that want to watch the F1 race.

I'm working on my wife to come along. Cotton Gin sounds good. Jennie better come, or I'm in deep guano. Any other wives coming? Other issue is if we're coming up, will you guys be around at lunchtime? That could work timewise.
Hey Russ, when I'm in town again, can my kids come out to see the T? They were in awe just now when they saw the picture. Plus I missed Mongo P8.4 Saturday, need to hear it.

They are of course welcome anytime - we'll just set up and meet at Boerne or somewhere.

I'll probably fly up around lunch as well on Sat.

Suggested to my wife last night that we fly to Austin or SA and rent a fun car, join you all for dinner. Maybe the Cotton Gin on Sat night? We'll see.

    .5 times a 20 for a TOC plus a .33 on the 75 into a 3.15 equals then a divided by a 50 carry the 2. Sure we might have a deal! :D

    OBTW -

The Australian GP is Sat night/Sun AM @ 0100

Will see if they can extend the bar hours, or we can retreat to a room.
