Those two are now in place, but pls take a look at my old sensors. The connectors are completely wasted. Now I will buy some new connectors and then I have two spare crank sensors. I humbly suggest you check your connectors too. They might look like mine and then, sooner or later, you will face some trouble. Mine looked similar; my Bosch sensors were still functional, what we have going on here is environmental factors degrading the connectors. Good tip on keeping the old ones as spares, since in many cases the original sensors still have life in them, just not the wiring/connector associated with them.
mine were the same as well. Repeated hot/cold cycles and too rigid a clamping system also contribute to connector destruction.
Mine were R.S. as well so tracked down replacement plugs, http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228857&highlight=crank+sensor&page=2 May also want to have a look at the cam sensor, it is the same type of hard plastic and same plug type, if you replace the crank angle sensors, may want to do this as well.
I had the car idling on the ramp and shorted the sensor pins by spraying water on them, it stalled and would not restart, until I dried them and reset the ECU. This happened to me while driving in heavy rain 2 months ago. I replaced both sensors (800 miles ago and 3 weeks ago) with Facet (generic equivalents).
