Don't know about amazing. The guy was hardly obese. Started with some love handles and no muscle tone. Average beer and TV aussie IMHO. Great he worked out a bit but the posing and removing all body fat for muscle definition is just as OTT.
not to say its not impossible. but he got lean and cut by about 50th day. which is quite consistent with one of the sporting drug with high dosage that body builders use right before compititions. i'm sure a combination of the few+ hard work can achieve such results . If this guy does bulk and loads of cardio with suppliments of whey protein, multi vitamin, glutamine and high fibre low fat diet, physicians will tell you that you'll loose sizable muscle with such cardio intensity. but everyone's genes are different i guess
