(Denver) Ferrari Spotters!!!!

I was going to originally have a very lame "spot"...Ferrari hat sitting in the rear window of a MB SL500 parked in Larmier Square on Sunday but then I hop onto NB I-25 @ Speer and see a beautiful Red T/R being driven

 

I saw the same TR!

Strangely, there was a Mercedes in hot pursuit. The driver was leaning out the window and shouting, "Hey, you dropped your hat!"

yep,sorry my time estimation was off .I was heading to Westminster, my brother-in-law is a police officer there ...met up with some of his colleagues there and took some staged pictures of me being pulled over ' hope all is fine at FoD and I'm so happy with the TR... thanks so much!!

A black 996 turbo on South Yosemite St and C-470 around noon and a cobalt blue 997 turbo on I-25 and 168th ~10:30pm.

 

Red/Tan F430 Spider @ 15th/Delgany on Sunday about 10am.

By the way, speaking of pictures, I can't believe the shots of the 412 above. I've been spotting cars for nearly four years now and I've never seen a 412 on the road. Cool sighting!

 

I almost ran against that R8 on I-25! It was this past saturday.

 

That lotus gets around a lot.

 

We've got quite a few of those Sterlings running around Colorado.

I ran one with my Camaro and smoked it.

 

Wasn't able to get a pic, but I spotted a debadged black Porsche Panamera downtown Denver this morning.

 

Where did you see it? I don't think they are for sale just yet, are they?

 

I wonder why they took off the badges, but I guess that everyone knows what it is anyway. . .

 

I don't think they even go to production until April. I was mad at myself for not being quicker with the camera. It had Georgia plates and was on Colfax and Speer at about 8:45.

And no, it doesn't look better in person. I rather have a Quattroporte any day.

 

A lot of manufacturers do high altitude testing in Colorado. Mt Evans is a favorite road. I've seen a couple of different test cars up there, one heavily disguised, another looked ready to go. Of course, Mt Evans is not open now but perhaps 12K altitudes will do for now.

Seeing that Porsche North America is in Georgia-only makes sense it had Georgia Plates. Porsche does alot of their base work out of Prestige Porsche on Colfax. Its fun to see the engineers swarm that store from time to time-and listen to all that German.

 

Red Nissan GTR on Broadway and Countly Line about 7:45am today. Amazing looking car.

A favorite place of mine to scope out is the Marriott in Denver West. Manufacturers from all over the world do high altitude testing in Colorado and a lot of them use this hotel while in town. I've seen numerours proto-types and pre-production cars just sitting out there in the parking lot.

I was in the turn lane turning left onto county line in a white truck pulling a big trailer.
