$$ very well spent Sy. That has to be one of, if not the best paint on a 348 anywhere in the world. It's perfect.

    Congrats!

DAMN I'm jealous. That is the blackest black ever, and the shiniest.

    Its simply stunning sy !!

It always was one of my favorite 348 as I really liked the colour combo. Now the paintwork is done I think it's gone to the top of my list.

Can't wait to see it this year on a run.

Fantastic looking job!!! Goth is rubbing one out in the corner somewhere right now looking at these pics. Just hope he still has time to work on the new CATS for me :p

The only thing that scared me was seeing the reflection of that 32ft ladder hanging in the work bay next to the car. I was like, "move the car or move the ladder!"

Looks great man; now get her out and drive that black beast!

    Sy,

Great thread! Came out awesome! great documentary also.

crazy so, even a fresh painted car may still have scratches on the surface?

I was glad to see you have not missed Rocky's stripes, I was worried you may have.

    Looks great!

Was also very excited to hear that you wanted to drive it...many people wont drive there car after a fresh wax/wash none the less after a complete repaint!

Enjoy it and please continue posting pictures and video as always

    Thanks David.

Different stripes will be going back on the car earlier next year. Thinking of a wider version of the 16M stripe.

Maybe not relevant in the context of this tread but are you sure that your front grooved discs have been mounted correctly?

I have been said that it's always the inner side of the groove that must first enter the calliper, not the external... To be checked.

In any case congrats for the result. Black is a difficult colour but you made it!

Your the second person to mention that.

According to the instructions that came with the brakes, it is correct.
