    I've just removed the distributor cap on my '78 308. Now, how the heck do I remove the wires (specifically the coil wire) from the cap. Sorry for the stupid rookie question, but I'm in the garage now trying to figure it out as I plan to replace all my wires tonight! Thanks!

    there are little screws holding the wires in. do a few searches as there are several good threads with pics on replacing ignition wires.

    Probably best in the tech section or the 308/328 section, not here. good luck
