Where do I find my car assy number? It's a 1998 355 F1 GTS, VIN 112378. The motor number in the original warranty card book is 49711. If that is it, does that mean I should use the latter siren, p/n 177148?
Look for a stamped metal plate, riveted to the subframe assembly beside one of the rear shock towers (I think the right side). EDIT: see attached Image Unavailable, Please Login

Found it on the left (driver's) side. Thanks to all that helped. Assembly number is 29479, so earlier, more $$ part is correct.
