I recently purchased a CS and the car has aftermarket carbon fiber shift paddles and steering wheel installed.
It seems the left (downshift) paddle may be comming lose inside the steering column and I would like to take a shot at tightening it up.
Any advice on how to do this? How do I get in there? I am a little uneasy about messing with the integrated airbag in the steering wheel.

If it is just the paddle there are 2 screws that hold it on. You can just turn the wheel to get to them. If it is the F1 control assembly you will need to remove the column covers and (IIRC) the steering wheel.

Just curious -- what is your impression of the CS thus far compared with the '99?

The CS feels stiffer, lighter, quicker, louder and all round nastier...
It feels a lot like a race car.

Paddle tightened by the way, yep just turn the wheel. - I feel like a dope.

The CS sounds serious compared to the 99. Glad to hear that the fix however was nothing serious to get at!
