    i found a very good (great, the best) independent ferrari mechanic (eugenio's ferrari service in glendora) to work on my stradales. now i am looking for an independent shop to work on my toyota land cruiser. does anybody have any good recommendations? thanks in advance.

    Why not ask Eugenio, perhaps he gives the best advice in the world too? :D

    IMPOSSIBLE! I go to the Rub, Tug and Repair depot! "Top Secret" fluid change on special. Done in 1/2 hour too! ;)

    I received several recommendations for the following on Lexus boards and IH8MUD.com (an enthusiast site for LandCruisers). I haven't yet tried them but I plan to since I'm tired of getting hosed for $90 oil changes on our Lexus LX470.

    "Laguna Viejo Auto Service, 27140 Cabot Road, Suite A, Laguna Hills, CA 949-582-7262. Manager is Harry Ashcraft.

    MarK is their main mechanic and is also a cruiser lover and ex-Yota master mechanic.

    He's right next to Amato Tire between Oso and Crown Valley Pkwy along the 5."

    If you do try them, please let me know how your experience goes.

    No problem. Please let me know if you use them. I'm leaning towards giving them a try for our upcoming 40,000 mile service on the LX.
