    I swear I heard a crack in my head when I belted mine off the hoist once. I wish I had a bumper too lol.

    Glad I'm not the only one. When putting mine up, I crowned myself so hard I almost knocked myself out. If I didn't have enough room for an overheight lift, I would probably be eating through a straw by now.

    Yes, very tight indeed.... The F-car's roof has less than 3" of clearance to underside of ramp ....and this is with the vette raised to MAX height and positioned so that with its top off, the garage door opener's box sticks several inches inside the cockpit. SO, your suggestion is a great solution - thanks very much :) !

    Just my beater Tiburon Tuscany Edition (6 Cyl.) quite peppy though. You get a good idea of clearance as before I only had a couple of inches.

    I check this forum to see what I passed up on. See you guys in the spring.

    so you spend all that money to install a car elevator so only two are left out side in the elements? ok, why not do it inside the garage? or better yet just expand the garage AND put lifts in for the same money?
