We're changing the boots on my axles and discovered the axles are made in Germany. Does anyone know if the axle boots cross reference from another and thus cheaper application?

Check parts list & see if 348 uses the same axle. If so.....
The 348 uses a Porsche 911 turbo (930) CV boot. The 348's CV joint is 108 mm diameter x 40mm wide and the Porsche part # 90133229312 boot should fit it and cost about $6 per boot (no grease or clamps). Ferrari uses industry standard, third party LOBRO CV joints, supplier to VW, Audi, and Porsche among others ( http://www.drivewire.com/index.html ).

The 930 Porsche boot or no Porsche boot fits the F355?

Is that aero boot from Pegasus flexible enough for street use. It looks like it would have less give, which is ok for a track car but less so on bump streets I would think. How many miles are on your aero boots and how do they look? Pros or cons? Thanks!

Actually the OEM boot kits from Ricambi are fairly inexpensive.

I've had these on for 3 years and approximately 7000 miles now, with no problems.

Hey, those are nice looking boots. They would probably do better with the heat from the headers as well.
