What material is the roof made out of on a 348 ts and 355 gts?

    hey guys!!

    just wondering what material is the roof of a 348 ts and a 355 gts made out of? is it the same material as the doors?

    only wondering because I have seen the tops paint matched to the car and they look great in pictures but I have never seen one up close.

    They are made of fiberglass. The top has a pattern molded in that makes it appear like vinyl. The painted tops have the texture on the outer surface sanded down and are then painted. It is the same material as the side strakes / door scoops but not the same as the doors themselves.

    Thats correct, just stick on a DA sander and smooth it down, prime and paint:)
