I think anyone that is successful early on or more successful than their friends might feel this way. The easy solution is find someone alot more successful, although they might not be in your age group, then you so you can become the low man on the totem pole! ;) the youll have a friend and some motivation.

Exactly. That's more of what i'm looking for... I'm not trying to find people who i can be above to feed my ego... My journey starts now. I want to meet and hopefully become friends with more people like that. I might have money, but i have a lot to learn

You can learn a lot about people by not flashing the $$. Leave the custom shirts, etc...home. Show up in a beater of a car and see if people are interested in you or your $$. You will be surprised at what you find.

I've found most people to be interested in a friend instead of money. I don't think i flash enough to get that kind of attention. well....... that is until now... i feel pretty flash with that merc. i wish I could make it invisible so I could just enjoy driving it without being looked at. lol

I have to agree, simply because he has overlooked the real gems of advice in this thread. It has not been a discussion of someone who is truly in pain.

the link in my profile is a dead site I used to run to try to offer tips on making money from discussion forums.... it has nothing to do with my biz really...

I should be partying? LOL I think i'll stick with the support I got via PM from several humble middle aged guys who made it big and expressed that they could relate to me but offered some advice. A few of you are really misunderstanding me. That's partly my fault though

Go buy a 10 year old pickup and then drive it to social events. Doesn't matter what kind of event, just whatever interests you. Church, book club, horse races, whatever. Join a softball team, or a bowling league. Meet people. Have lunch with them. Go for a drink after work. You might be surprised how many people there are out there like you, or aren't like you but are interesting anyway.
