I'm sure it would make Enzo very proud that his make is getting into the rightful owners who respect the brand.
Exactly. Enzo Ferrari would be rolling in his grave right now. Let alone did he think his marque would turn into owners putting ski-boxes, comoflauge paint, 20" spinners, and painting them pink, etc. Chris
The car is black underneath that wrap. Does the owner of Bape live in Germany? I ask because those are German plates. Enzo didn't give a **** what people wanted - and he didn't care what people did to their cars after they took delivery. Enzo just wanted the money, so that he could continue financing the Scuderia. Back then, customers received cars different than they were specced out. Even today, customers still receive cars not exactly as ordered.
All true, but the 22" rims and wraps didn't exist back then, so who knows. BTW I always appreciate the feedback you guys give at Universal especially stories about the good ol days.
Car belongs to Axel K., CEO of a realestate developer in wiesbaden, germany if I am not mistaken. If you look closely you can actually see the logo on the door. Tob
That is really funny. When I was flying F-111s in Clovis, NM, our director of operations had a really ratty Fiat 850 coupe. We stole it one night and gave it to the paint shop for the F-111s. Next day the DO found it with the bodywork all fixed, but the paint was the brown and green striped camouflage and lower black of an F-111. He actually claimed to like it. Easy to see him coming after that. Unfortunately no photos to show. Taz Terry Phillips
Really? Very cool. What do you put as "occupation" on your immigration forms when you travel: "Weapons System Officer" or "Rocket Scientist"? I would think either one gets a raised eyebrow...
Not entirely true. There has been a few stories about Enzo refusing to sell a Ferrari to someone who didnt brush him the right way or because they werent qualified enough ( 1962 GTOs..).
Charlie- Consultant. Keeps me out of trouble. Rocket scientist is good for bars, though. Taz Terry Phillips
Wonder why he picked desert camouflage? Perhaps because all the current unpleasantness is in that part of the world? Green, brown and black were for Europe at night. Taz Terry Phillips
Yes, but those were for reasons of racing politics or personality clashes, not because someone did not have the "proper" taste or class to own a Ferrari.
