the correct answer is noyesmaybe...hope this helps. Whatever floats your boat :)
The CGT is every bit the supercar the Enzo is at a third of the price (and price should make a difference when you can buy the CGT, F40 and a Scuderia for one Enzo). That being said the CGT is still a Porsche and the Enzo is a Ferrari. On that level there is no comparison. The mystique, heritage, rarity and a host of other factors will always place the Enzo in a different class from the CGT. However, when it comes down to the driving experience itself - they both offer very equal levels of satisfaction (albeit derived from different characteristics of each car). In many ways I think I would enjoy the CGT in the long run simply because I enjoy manual shift cars more than F1 cars. One more thing to mention. The person who said they would choose an Enzo based on SOUND compared to a CGT has obviously not listened to a CGT go by at full song or else does not appreciate the sound a F1 car makes. There is no car that comes close to duplicating the exhaust note of the CGT.
Wrong! You must not like F1 or the sound of a F1 car. The CGT exhaust note is second to none including the Enzo. Beats it hands down!
^ Agreed with previous posts, CGT engine & exhaust note is insane in person and yes I've seen & heard CGT side by side with Enzo. I would take a CGT + CS + F40 + F430 Spider over one single Enzo any day.
the exhaust note of the CGT is as sweet a sound as u can imagine, if you like the sound of an F1 car zipping by..my favorite thing to do is drive it hard at about 5k rpm as i drive under overpasses..the sound is intoxicating
Pretty much an Enzo with its F1 "manual" tranny can be driven by anyone. That can't be said of the CGT. Ultimate respect is expected and rewarded. Not a lot of people can drive the CGT and drive it well. Many have tried.......and many have failed. Back to exhaust notes. I've also heard both at WOT...........CGT hands down.
Many uninformed opinions here and a couple of credible ones. Think I will take Jim's opinion as gospel. Never did like V10 engines, or inline fives either. The V10s were only in F1 because of rules limiting the number of cylinders. Seventy-two degree V10? Some imbalances in there? Make mine a V12. A sixty-five degree V12 is definitely better than a seventy-two degree V10. Wish we could go back to the days of unlimited F1 engines. V6s through V16s. Talk about glorious sounds. Decided by engineering decisions, not bloody rules. Taz Terry Phillips

Nope...but then we had somebody get banned here for starting a thread on how fat Pavarotti was...so I guess everybody can pick for themselves. The CGT to my ears has a lot of that slightly unbalanced buzzy quality that I dislike in the Ferrari V8 cars, particularly the 355 and up.
