It will be interesting to see what Lewis can do if the Mac is the 3rd best car or worse on the grid.
Ha! Photoshop?? I wish I even knew how to use it. There are these too: Me and Lewis and then me and Adrian Sutil. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
- Yeah, he really sucked in 2007: First rookie to almost lift the title. - He sucked even more in 2008: Got the title despite the FIA gifting countless points to his challenger. - If he sucks as bad in 2009 I will win my bet about him becoming a multiple WDC. Can't wait for his sucky driving. I wasn't aware that they have Speed TV on planet Xenon.
I for one do not think LH sucks etc. I think he has his moments like all drivers who have trouble with the color RED In all seriousness, if the car is troublesome for pace, we will see a different LH early on until they get the car where they want it. I think this year for LH, it will be a year of growth and learning even more so than the last year. If he has to struggle a bit early on, we might get to see how good he is in a car that is not on row 1 or 2 and how he reacts, car development etc. If the car is fast out of the box, and it just might be, then I expect him to carry on per last year. He is a superb driver.
Quite correct Dave, it appears it needs to be answered, whether Lewis can drive an under par car and do well, I really don't need need convincing, he will. But whatever he does for some it will never be enough, because unlike you there hate runs deep.
you can now buy lavatory paper with his face on it................the advert goes "one wipe and his face becomes more brown"
Take 1 : Comments made by Lewis Hamilton in Melbourne have been interpreted by the British media as a sign the reigning world champion might consider leaving McLaren. While admitting to reporters that even scoring points at Albert Park this weekend will be difficult, the 24-year-old Briton was asked on Thursday if the situation could lead to him shopping around for a better drive. "I haven't had offers from other teams and I am not talking to anyone but I would listen to an offer if someone asked," he said. "It would be a compliment and it would be silly if I did not." The quote was interpreted as an 'admission he could leave' McLaren (the Guardian), that he has 'doubts over future' (the Times), and a 'hint' that could 'alert Ferrari' (the Telegraph). Hamilton, however, is under contract until 2012, and he has previously said he never intends to leave the Mercedes-powered team. But he also admitted to reporters that, unlike last year's '8 out of 10' MP4-23 with which he won the drivers' title, the package he will race this weekend scores just a 'four'. "I honestly don't know (why)," Hamilton admitted. "I think we focused so much on last year's car, we maybe left it a little bit late to focus on this year's car." Source: GMM © CAPSIS International
Take 2 : Lewis Hamilton on Thursday played down British media speculation that he might consider leaving McLaren. In Melbourne for his first race as world champion, the 24-year-old Briton was quoted as admitting he 'would listen' to offers from rival teams. "It would be a compliment and it would be silly if I did not," said Hamilton. The quotes were interpreted as an 'admission he could leave' McLaren (the Guardian), that he has 'doubts over future' (the Times), and a 'hint' that could 'alert Ferrari' (the Telegraph). "I am happy where I am," he later clarified. "It (the speculation) doesn't really have any grounds. All I said was that it's quite cool if you find out other teams are interested in you. It's good to know you are wanted." "I honestly want to see out my career with McLaren. I do feel it's my family, it's where I am right now and it's where I'm happy," Hamilton added.
