348 vs 355 Spyder

    Ok, probably an old question, but new to me. Checking in on spyder version of both since prices have come down. Any recommendation of one model or year over the other? Any major things to look for/at while buying. Major issues? I probaly am leaning towards the paddle shift.

    Using that great big lever bar to raise and lower the 348s roof, its not supprising:rolleyes:

    Like has already been said the paddle shift is a 355 thing. If you want a relatively easy to maintain car choose the 348. If you can afford the maintenance of a 355 go for one. Only buy one if you can afford to maintain it if it goes wrong.
    The roofs on some cars mess up but so do 360 spiders. Out of both my cars, a 360 spider and a 355 spider, the 355 has never caused me any problems ever. But the 360 has 3 times now over two years.

    Ed, Ed, Ed, with enough force, the 355 top will function like the 348's. It's just the 348 is designed that way.
