Hi all, I am an expat living in Belgium with my family...which includes my 348 :)

Can anyone please indicate to me whether there are any tracks where one can go to have "a good time" close to Brussels? Not exactly to race, you know - I'm not that experienced; but to be able to enjoy the beast a bit.

    Thanks in advance

    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

The closest track to Brussels is (as far as I know) Zolder (around 80km's from Brussels). Then you have the famous Spa-Francorchamps of course which is about 140 km's away from Brussels.
Both tracks have "trackdays" where you can drive your car.

I am curious about your 348. Tell us more about your car.....or show us some photo's :)

    Spa-Francorchamp": http://www.spa-francorchamps.be/

    Best regards,

Thanks so much for this info - I though there wasn't anything closer to Francorchamps. Pity that the site is in Dutch which I don't understand - but I'll do my best as I'm sick of driving up and down highways - risking to get "immortalised" by some speed camera.

I actually live in St-Pieters-Leeuw - I'll post some pics of my baby ASAP

    Have a nice sunny weekend

    Stefan

as you might have noticed belgium is rather small
an 1 hour drive will take you just across the french border (near Coutrai and Lille) to croix en ternois
    a small cosy twisty circuit

Europe is small. The Nurburgring isn't that far either!

    Information on trackdays at Zolder:
    www.skylimitevents.com
You have to take an 195.- initial course
Free driving afterwards is about 50.- per hour
    12 days per year

Ferrari dealers normally invite their 'best' customers to the yearly trackday at Spa-Francorchamps

    Nordschleife is 240kms away

    Have fun
