Ciao Emilio, no, I was not aware about the meeting of last week end. I hope to join these meetings asap, anyway when my car will be back in full shape. Regards, Franz

David Fabio Lamborghini drove the car to meet he told me it is not one of lambos of lamborghini museum and that the car has been almost completely restored ...a lot of money went in the resto i have to say the car really looks nice
It is an act of love to restore an Urraco to that level, to restore an LP400 Countach to that same level would probably cost 15% to 20% more
i cant remember if i posted anything about the interior. had the dash done in electric blue Alcantera and Italian leather on the trim including the doors Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
goober nice interior... did you cut some metal out of the doors to save weight? mine looks to have alot more metal. thanx for postin hf
Your car is more beautiful now than when it rolled off the S.Agata assembly line back in the 1970's! One of the very best that I have ever seen. I enjoyed 18 years of Urraco ownership (15624 - production no. 332 and was able to put 107,000 km on the clock!

i have P300 doors... they seem to be a little different with safety door beams and slight modification to the sheet metal for different door release pull handle.
I believe that USA specification cars and Euro cars had different door internals - USA cars had an extra internal brace. Also the chassis was reinforced around 1976, the P300 cars have a small roll bar visible near the rear speakers. Inside door panel and seats are also different.
DD1 i think your correct about that... the late urraco's P300 P111 P117 all start to share the same chassis. i believe even some of the euro cars had safety beam doors off of the P111 due to the lack luster sales that few woefully short of projected targets. has anyone weighed a P250 lately? i wonder how much lighter they are than a P300 without roll hoop, beams, padded dashboard, thicker seat, door panels not to mention a smaller motor with fewer cams... I dont have much faith in old magazine quotes of the curb weights. i recall some mention of the early P250 didnt run with brake booster? in some ways i think i prefer the lighter and cleaner P250 appearance over the P300 even without the black bumpers. however, the 3.0L power and soul makes a world of difference.
Such a good price that they are going to flip and make a quick buck: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976-Lamborghini-Urraco_W0QQitemZ150336185967QQihZ005QQcategoryZ6290QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i really love the uracco and i spend some time to look for more collectors iteems on ebay. There is a guy who sells the first uracco p300 brochure, he also has two amazing lp640 dvds. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lamborghini-Uracco-P300-brochure-Prospekt_W0QQitemZ170323016048QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Car_Parts_Vehicles_Automobila_ET?hash=item170323016048&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
Hi Gang, I've just been proposed one of the very last Uracco P300 (Euro specs), in original yellow color. The car is in excellent cond., and has been redone. What's its value on the market ? Is there any demand on that nice and rare car if I need to sell tomorrow ? Thanx in advance. PD.
P300 euro is the best urraco you can buy this said these little cars never had BIG demand so prices are still very reasonable imo a very good restored car is is a 30k euro car... at best, you will find a buyer when will come time to sell but do not aspect to re sell it QUICK for 30k and be prepared to wait LONG time to get more than this, you need time and patience to find the right buyer my 0.02
i forgot i personally believe that a P300 is a very good car for the money, completely sorted out, reliable, fast, good sound and nice desgin....simply stating these are undervalued cars and have a somewhat "small" following
i agree on all of the above but reliable? any P300 out there has more than 35,000 miles without any drivetrain issues? i reckon more have problems than not.
