    Nice one..

Brian fanastic!! that appears to be a nail on the head photo, thanks for taking your time, I can't wait to find out if this was the case with mine.

By the look of things when that happens, I would imagine there is no way of knowing.
    Will report back.

Picked up the car today, inspected the tensioner, the bolt that holds it had sheared, the tensioner fell away!, because it was on the right hand side (I think!!) the belt didn't slip, had it been on the other side kaboom!!...so I was told..

There are uprated bolts for them.

Hi Guys, does anyone know the actual improvements that were made to the uprated 360 hydraulic tensioner? Maybe the upper bolt now passes through a bushing to allow minor movement and avoid stress cracks; or perhaps the lower bolt uses a nylon bushing instead of rubber. Dunno. A photo of the uprated part would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is it just 1 of the tensioners that fails or is it both?

The design change is slight and would probably not be seen in a photo.
