Thanks. I'm breaking it in this weekend at Daytona. I rented the 70-200 F/2.8 IS for the weekend. I bought the 24-105 f/4 kit.
I have a shot of a highrise that I took at night with a 400mm lens, 30 second exposure. I call it "the violinist." I'll have to upload it.
Ditto.. XTI to 5dmkII is a BIG upgrade. Going from the 40D to a 5DmkII was an easy transition because I was already used to the size and wheel. I had an XTI for a few months and it felt like a toy in comparison.
I am using a Nikon D40 with a 17-55 and a 55-200 :]. It produces great images for such an affordable DSLR camera.
I have this camera, but I have an alignment problem getting my four eyes up to three viewfinders. Image Unavailable, Please Login
All Nikon for myself D80 D100 D300 I did have a D2x but got rid of it after the D300 kicked it's ass in image quality Most of my work is Aviation photography.
I was probably the first person to have the Nikon D70nX ..... ( D70 & eggs) [I created the image of the Nikon Quadcon and the 3D Hassy, as well as the culinary excuse for a camera shown here.] I currently have an ordinary looking Nikon D700, D200 and Fuji S5 (just like the D200, but with Fuji sensor and software); and small P&S Nikon and P&S Canon; and some film cameras that sit unused. Lenses: Nikkor: 12-24mm f4, 14-24mm f2.8, 18-70mm f3.5-4.5, 20mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 35-70mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4, 60mm f2.8 Micro, 70-200 f2.8, 85mm f2.8 Micro tilt & shift, 105mm 2.8 Micro. I use a Canon 1D with Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and Canon 70-200 f2.8L most of the time. I use a Metz 54mz4 flash. I shoot FSU sports, mostly football, and the ALMS series. My main moneymaker is weddings and portraits. I will, however, be switching to Nikon this year, to the d700. Should be a fun time learning a new system. Can't wait to use the CLS system. Here's a quick link to some ALMS from last year. There's a 612 Scaglietti gallery on there as well. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tchphotography/sets/72157607853993253/
I just bought a Rebel XS a few weeks back. This is my first digital SLR. Back in college and beyond I used a Canon T90 (still have it in mint condition) and I'm kind of a Canon guy. Won some awards with it, too. Already took some long exposure night shots of some of my properties - really changes the impact of the property presentation. I'm looking forward to getting some pics of my car soon. RMX
Here are some engine shots...I love my new camera! RMX Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a simple P&S Kodak MX1063, http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/184-5118563-8897642?ASIN=B001FOUJ74&AFID=Froogle&LNM=B001FOUJ74|Kodak_10.3MP_Digital_Camera_-_Silver_(MX1063)&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B001FOUJ74&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001
Just bought a Canon TX and 50mm f1.8 on eBay for $30! I have been wanting an old SLR for awhile now but it was a good find. Anything special I should know from those of you shooting film?
Just picked up 2 new toys bought the 24-70 f/2.8 a couple of months back, and just bought a D700 the other day with a battery grip... and now I'm in the poor house again.
mine is a 1 family owned, the hand book is like a Porsche workshop manual.Great for slides and black and white.
Canon 40D w/ 24-105mm F/4 L. An awesome set up that takes super sharp pictures. Now just need a 70-200 to fill out the kit.
I did pick up another camera at the end of last year. My mother left behind an old Brownie that she had as a teenager. I've been looking at it, it seems to be in working order still. Seems like I can buy film and get it processed on line. I might have to play with it just for some fun shots. Could be interesting!
I am firing up the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II tomorrow and maybe grabbing a rebel xti to go do a favor for Playboy Expect a few behind the scenes shots
