    IMWO,

Vanity plates bring extra attention to an already attention getting machine. I think that vanity plates can provide just another reason for people to fXXX with your car. Because on some leve it's just that extra "salt in the wound" that could set someone off.

    Just something to think about...

My wife said the exact same thing... It makes me re-think. Unless the wording reflects too much vanity and/or agitate others, it should be okay. That is the difficult part of the whole thing. The word that has the great sense of a humor is the key.

I betcha. Here in NC, plates have three letters followed by four numbers. I went to the DMV site last year and saw that their sample plate began WTF, and about fell out of the chair laughing. They issued 10,000 of them before it made the national news, http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,371902,00.html, claiming "text-savvy grandchildren" invented the abbreviation. Sorry, but the military has been saying Whiskey Tango Foxtrot since way before the Net. DMV finally got the clue and recalled all WTF plates.

    For your 355:

    V8ORWALK
    NXPENSIV
    2XPENSIV (matter of perspective)
    LYFSVNGS
    JUSLUCKY
    2MUCH HP
    HITROOPR
    NOTPAID4 (might calm the haters)
    NDEBT4IT (ditto)
depending on situation, TX HONEY or (actual plate on a Ferrari in a C&D Top 10 issue) NO WIFE
