Hip Huggers: Not for Everyone

I don't worry about hip huggers. I got my suspenders to keep my pants up or I just go down to Tractor Supply Co. and get a new pair of overalls.

First you have to determine if you 'dress to the right or left'. Once you know that, buy your jeans accordingly. When buying dress slacks, a good tailor will always ask you that question.

 

My tailor, like I have one LOL, knows I 'dress' on both sides, I'm massive like that and then I wakeup!

 

Is wearing suspenders WITh a belt uncool? I have never owned a pair of suspenders and am thinking about buying a pair. Why? I have no clue other than the fact that I have never owned a pair!

 

Another question: where do you guys put your stuff in super low riders? The baggy boys hung their belt on their d*** & let their oversized jeans sag down below their butt. These tight hip huggers must be a challenge. Do Tell.

 

My wife had good luck with http://www.zafu.com/ to find jeans that actually fit her body and look good. She calls the hip-huggers "teenager cut."

With high unemployment, I expect Detroit to go off the list soon.

 

I dunno, either way sounds sort of unappealing on a guy to me. Just put them at your waist. Who ever came up with that silly thing with having your boxers show out the back?

 

I was in NC last week, and I almost fell over laughing when this young man came into the gas station where I was buying a soda, with his jeans' waist just above his knees! He had to walk by swinging his feet in an arc parallel to the ground!

Some people just don't seem to have the good sense God gave a rock... then again, some people watch Survivor!

I do the same. But I don't usually wear jeans, it's usually shorts.

 

Well I do know that you do not wear a belt when wearing dress suspenders with a suit....that is uncool. As for wearing suspenders with jeans.............Duh, I don't know. I just found the picture and thought it fit..........Why would you wear a belt with suspenders? Looks kinda red-neck to me.....

 

Wear suspenders when wearing a Tux, and no belt. That's the only time I wear mine.

 

Its not just jeans but skirts and shorts, too!

My wife can't understand what is so appealing about that look either. She says it's very unattractive on a guy. Once, I jokingly pulled my jeans down to my "mid-butt" to show my wife. I couldn't believe how uncomfortable it was. Also, it greatly limited my freedom of movement...walking, sitting, walking up stairs, normal basic movements felt difficult. Plus my wife said I looked hysterical. To each there own I guess but this is definitely a "look" I don't get.

 

I tried this look once and lets just say...my "stuff" was not happy. However, what worried me the most was, what's gonna happen when my stuff has one of those random acts of "standing at attention"??? Yikes!

 

if i am not mistaken, it is a prison thing. pants given out in prison don't always fit everyone perfectly, and belts are verboten. So, you had to walk around holding your oversized pants up. Spread to the street and now it's "gangster" specially if you are a thin, pasty white boy from the upper classes.

 

back in my day, the ladies really liked the look. Specially if it was hip huggers and bellbottoms. I think this answers the "package" question as well.

Watch his VH1 "Rock of Love". He must rub his jeans down the rt crotch area constantly to create the "highlighted" buldge.
