So over the winter I decided to give the car a bit of a makeover. New exhaust, QA1s, Euro bumpers, etc. I tore it all apart ages ago, and now am at the point where I have to put it back together. Half wit that I am, however, I can't remember if the rear shocks go in before the fender wells or after. Or does it even bloody matter?...
The fender wells are freshly painted. I'd hate like hell to scuff them up putting them in, and tearing them out again.

Anyone done this recently that would be willing to spill a little info?... I'd be most greatul!

I can tell you that it is not a problem to put the fender wells in with the shocks in place, because I never take my shocks off to remove or replace the fender wells.

They go before. Put the fender wells in last thing.
