    Depends on why I'm sad....

Generally, I like to listen to mellow jazz or light progressive rock when in a quiet mood.....something to take me away.

If you are sad because you and someone just broke up then don't turn music on. There is very few songs that can't be interpreted to make you feel worse.

Pretty much anything on my playlist. I'm an emo kid...

If you want to be seriously depressed, listen to Promise of Redemption. Its the lead singer of a pop punk band called Valencia. His girlfriend died and pretty much his whole 2 cd's are singing about how much he misses her. Its really really deep stuff thats pretty depressing but its pretty amazing music.

Im the opposite. I like to embrace whatever I am feeling, happy or sad, and feel it to its fullest. Life is boring without intense emotional experiences.
