Congratulations for the car, one of the most amazing never made. I'd also like to thank you for sharing with this community all your experiences with it, it's really interesting. Is there any opportunity to see her in Italy?
Been a member here for a while now, but always timid (?) to post in this thread. I've drooled over the P4/5 for years now, and want to thank you for this thread, the pictures, being down-to-earth, etc. Any chance you'll be in the Chicago area in the future with her?
Yep Thats mine... the 3D mesh I made long ago as an add-on in one small game has now been converted to work in all sorts of games now. I got permission from Jim long ago(started on it before the official debute) to make a 3D mesh of it... He even sent me the pics at certian angels to get it as close as I could. Their is multipule post in this thread we are in, talkin about it before, some even with pics. Either Way No one yet has seen my own personal revamp of the mesh which now has the updated triangular top pipes, fully modeled enginebay as well as under the front hood. Everything can open up now. I'm still sitting here dreaming of your One-Off Beauty Jim, thanks again for having the guts to have this bad boy made.
Personaly... I would have ... But in most games the driver model is seperate from the car, hence anyone wanting to use the "Jim G" driver would have to replace it with the original driver model from the game who would then be the driver for every vehicle in that game from then on. I personaly very rarely if ever play the games, I just like to make the rides... old hobby I still do from time to time. You can see the topic I originaly stared the mesh for the P4/5 here: http://www.nfscars.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18017 Plenty of other rides I made aswell.
Any plans for a photoshoot of your entire collection together? I'm sure some photographers would die for the chance to put pictures like those in their portfolios. Peter Hatch
I'll take the blue Passat. JK, those are some beautiful cars. I am truly jealous but at least they are driven as they should be. +1,000,000,000,000 to Jim for that.
Jim, The cars look great!!! Do you know what year they did all the slight detail changes on the 206S? I noticed they added rivets on the top front center vents, blacked out the headlight buckets and changed the color of the wings.
