I like wearing a hat when driving.
I don't like to stand out, so this is usually what you'll see me wearing because as I say, I like to look understated when I drive my 308... BTW - Do you know what this outfit cost??? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I wore my ferrari jacket this morning since it was a little chilly. I Love My Ferrari!!!!! I'm sorry I'm hooked!!!!!!
if you wear too much ferrari in public, you are a ferrari ***, at least according to lambo power i like a lot of my stuff i get from the ferrari store in beverly center, but i try not to over do it. i did not start wearing ferrari stuff until after i had one. sad i guess
I make it a point NOT to EVER drive a Ferrari, with any kind of Ferrari clothing. I will put on my NASCAR hat and get behind the wheel of an F430 or any other Ferrari. I have even turned around and headed back home to change my hat if i forget that I'm wearing a Ferrari hat while behind the wheel. Ferrari clothes are possibly the worst automotive clothes on the market..so loud, and just plain poser. Screams "trying to hard".
NASCAR. (LOL) Just kidding. I think the post about ferrari apparel screaming trying to hard was coming from a position of "screaming high dose of insecurity".
I love my mug, this is all the Ferrari stuff I had on hand. Ferrari *** on urban dictionary Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 348 and 355 guys have their own apparel, a little more subtle than the prancing horse. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was sporting my 348 hat proudly today on my way to Calgary reading the old 348 Brotherhood magazine by Gimme fuel. So this really hot blonde who I had been admiring sits beside and I thought all right she is going to ask about the hat and magazine, she turns to me and goes OMG this isn't my seat.... and leaves to sit in the row ahead and a 90 year old Grandma pulls up next to me??????? I tell ya I get no respect at all...
I got a new battery for ebay horse-shield watch, it's my daily driver again. For rides in the 308, I'll wear a shield, Fchat, or Norwood Performance baseball cap with the watch and shades.
I took a Skip Barber class last year. One of my classmates had just bought a 360. He showed up in a Ferrari hat, Ferrari jacket, and Ferrari driving shoes. It looked like a costume.
Like that episode of friends were Leblanc has all the Porsche gear on head to toe and the other guy states he looks like a Porsche threw up on him. Lambo has all the apparel now too at Palazzo don't see many guys wearing them though. Id like to see a guy with a Ferrari shirt Lambo jacket and Nascar hat along with all the other accessories for each
I would never buy any apparel of any kind with Ferrari or the emblem, etc. on it. I'd probably sometimes wear a T shirt that had the words or emblem on it, if it was not too obnoxious of a design, and someone gave it to me for free. (Even that, I'd probably wear a couple of times and then put it away).
+1 Bushwacker! I as an afficionado (future owner) I enjoy and wear anything that is low key. I'd dare not think of driving in it or riding in a friend/family F-car with any gear. I like it when it takes someone who actually knows the cars to spark up conversation with you about an "insider" type hat like above, and I can talk cars- specs and racing all day long. I love that tan 348 hat! (Thanks Dennis!) I'll admit, I typically will where F-Gear on F1 race weekends. No, no full costume only 1 piece at a time!
Other then a hat every once in a while, I've a few cool sweaters and jackets that I wear when out driving with friends. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You know how on St Patrick's day if you are not wearing green you get pinched? Maybe no Ferrari gear and you are jinxed?
True enough, Saint Patrick's Day I have to TOTALLY change over to Tommy Hilfiger Lotus F1 gear......LOLOLOLOL!
Before a beach vacation last year I got a Pit Crew watch because I like the look and thought the rubber strap would stand up to the water. Now that my regular watch is on an extended trip back to Switzerland I wear it more often and get a lot of compliments on my cool "Porsche" watch. It seems that not many Americans recognize the Cavallino
I am glad this thread has found new life. I thought it was dead and gone. I LOVE that 430 jacket. Very nice. In fact, the guy who is the basis for this thread was wearing a 430 Scuderia hat just like that one. I was in Vegas this weekend and we visited the Ferrari showroom at the Wynn. They had a beatiful F50 in the showroom (asking $959K) and several 430's, but no 360's. First time I have seen a California in person, and I have to say it does not suit my eye at all. No disrespect to any owners, it is just not my taste. Anyway, at their gift shop they had some really cute kids' logo clothes. The wife was checking out items in our kids sizes (daughter, 6 and my son is 14 months) and the logo items were at least $100 for a sweatshirt or a kids' t-shirt. Insane. At the same time, they had some really cute tank tops for women that were around $40. Odd. Either way, we are not owners (yet), so no Ferrari gear. Keep the replies coming
To me it's just a car brand, it's not exclusive, there are racing teams who run Ferraris, there is the F1 team, people can represent a team with the car logo. I've driven some nice cars and when people mention one I don't mention anything about having one just because it's kind of annoying lol, it's just a car. PERSONALLY though it kind of embarrasses me for those people who flaunt Ferrari or other car stuff around to basically say LOOK AT ME, I own a Ferrari, a hat is fine, a Polo with a small emblem, but say a huge jacket, a F1 crew shirt, stuff like that makes me lol...seriously.
