    technically we already have cyborgs. You can count people w hearing aids, pacemakers, some artificial limbs have microchips

    I think eventually having a built in cell phone will be an option, they could do that today w artificial limbs

    One SciFi book I read had people w built in microcomputers that allowed them access to a digital encyclopedia and even internet, cool stuff

    Yes, there are already nanowhatevers that attach to nerve endings so amputees may control their artificual limbs with only their mind. Either that or it was a book I read in the past year or two.
