    I live in a small heavily wooded neighborhood in Connecticut that has about 6 homes. The cars the neighbors drive are a combination of Subaru Outbacks, Priuses, a few BMW's and the rest are trucks. I was working on the 348 in the garage all winter so I don't think many on the neighbors saw it. I made a decision a few weeks ago when I needed to get it wash, waxed and registered that I am not going to hide what I worked so hard for. The neighbors can think whatever they want, I really don't care. I just drive it like I would my other cars and I don't make it a point to bring it up in conversation...Although one neighbor seems to bring it up all the time. He is a nice guy and I think he just wants a ride. Due to the income level where I'm at, I don't believe it would be jealousy if there was a negative perception of my toy. It would probably be more of an "Eco" thing, although I will never know because the people here keep to themselves.

    Couldn't agree more - I am totally in love with my 550. It's a stupendous car, and maintenance has been a pleasant surprise too. But it's still a V12 Ferrari, so don't try and run it on the cheap.

    The F550 is in my list as a possibility for the next addition to my garage. Beautiful styling and V12 to boot and the current prices make it a solid bargain. It's only competition for me would be the Aston Martin DB9 which is also down a bit price wise.

    Consider this for a moment, if you are capable.
    My house was burglarized two years ago. Fortunately they didn't vandalize the 308 at the time.
    Even though I have an alarm they could still return and do damage to the TR if they felt like it.
    Flaunting the fact that I have a TR just makes me a target for the scumbags driving by. I might as well put my cameras and sound system out front while I'm at it.

    Take it easy on Kerry he is just having one of his moments-he is not really that serious. Kerry is a productive member of our TR community, so calling him an idiot is unfair. FWIW I found his comments rather funny, because I know when he gets like this, not to take those type of comments too seriously. I am surprised that you have such thin skin.
