Morning Frost White '09 V8 Vantage photoshoot - 13 images

Another big thanks to Maserati of Atlanta for providing the car to me for several hours. I was there for three days shooting some of their inventory, with access to anything in stock, so I made my choice based on exterior color, interior color and wheel design. I wanted to shoot a Vantage with the sports pack 5-spoke wheels, but every car in stock with a set was in silver or black, and the color of the car was more important to me. So stock wheels it was.

MoA would not allow me to photograph the car off dealership property- for legitimate reasons, of course- so they allowed me to shoot in a vacant back lot. Far from an ideal backdrop, but I made due. And I think this handicap actually helped me in the long run; I didn't have much to work with in regards to the scenery- plus I had already photographed a Maserati in the same area a few days before and didn't want to repeat angles- so I had to up my game, both while shooting and in post, to try to make the best of the situation. And I think it worked.
