    Not to discredit you, but Cathedral is the proper word, not Church.

    Agreed though, every time I hear it pronounced "Noter DAme" I cringe. That is not the proper pronunciation in French, neither is the way many say the 'American' equivalent of the French 'Sacré-Cœur.' No wonder the French hate the ugly Americans!

    Point well made, in math class we only use calculators. I asked the teacher why we're required to use calculators and she replied, "It the technology is there, why not use it?"

    Absolutely nothing!

    Actually a mistake in spelling was brought up, then the thread moved on to the incorrect pronunciation of foreign words(other than English). From there it morphed into an educational format that no university could give you and, the beauty of it is, on Fchat you can get this valuable information for free! ;):D
