Tim- I should have remembered that. The last time I was there for a bomb fuze meeting the temperature was 10 below. Brain fart. Here is the Scuderia F1 ECU. Number 19 on the left hand drawing and located in the rear passengers' compartment control station. Nice paperweight if you convert to a manual transmission. Drawing courtesy of Ricambi. Actually I've never been to Elkhart Lake, I've been meaning to for years but there is always something else around here. July 29 might be a good time for a road trip, are you going?
Is there any body that can show the F1 ECU please? This is important I do not give free advice sum one pays for it is free for all of you. Courtesy of Exoticars-USA
Serkan- Not too much paying for advice going on here. Everybody tries to help each other. Good luck with that. Taz Terry Phillips
Ok so no body things Im a Jerk There is no F1 ECU!!! Ok that is what I want to explain there is A TCU (Transmission Control Unit) Part No: 19 ((Drawing courtesy of Ricambi.) Thanks) and the F1 Management is one! part inside the TCU, that so ease how you can go wrong. And Thank You Terry Fro (Everybody tries to help each other) yes That is what Im willing to do. Thanks (Courtesy of Exoticars-USA)
Tim- The meeting was at ATK's facility on the west side. Program was called STRIFE for a programmable, hard target penetrator fuze for impacts of 4000 fps or so. I am staying out of the ECU vs TCU discussion. Gone about as far as it needs to. Taz Terry Phillips
Tim- The only thing at which I was ever really good (expert, actually) was intentionally blowing up things. You taxpayers got your money's worth out of me. Taz Terry Phillips
Please No insult ! It takes only 2 days for any one to figure out you are a big FUGAZI. Have a nice day. I will not answer you... PS: And and if any one will swap-it please do so ???
Even my engineering PhD isn't helping me in this thread. Il mio italiano deve essere migliore del suo inglese tradotto.
The TCU or ECU is not the problem, or of real concern with the transaxle swap. The biggest problem I have in doing these swaps is getting the correct blinker fluid. It seems that they are different on a F1 transaxle, versus the 6 speed. Do you have a factory source? As I'm sure you know, the six speed, after the swap, just won't shift correctly with the F1 blinker fluid... Thoughts? David
GOOD, that makes feel better! I even had to Google "Fugazi"....read down until I got to "like the Stooges with reggae", brewed up a mental image of Brian with dreadlocks and had to stop.... Just went from bad to worse.
Ask so one from Brooklyn the will tel you what is a Fugazi )) or Google Brooklyn Bensonhurst you will find it. Go luck ) any Ferrari questions ?
