He's technically correct. Mustangs and Camaros are not musclecars either by definition. Corvettes are sports cars...splitting hairs. Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Funny watching people at my office react to it today. I just drove up, said "hello" and went to my office. RMX
I checked on a raw install price if I brought the film: $150. Now you can see how much they mark up the film. Their quote was $479 installed. That's a pretty hefty markup. For $800 some people charge, get the freaking bumper resprayed every few years. Anyway, the local folks here told me to get the VentureShield as it's easier to work with. You get your Z yet? RMX
Strictly speaking, a muscle car is an inexpensive intermediate-size car with the manufacturer's larger full-size car engine. For example, a 350 cubic inch Chevelle is not a muscle car. But a 396 or 454 Chevelle is. A 326 Tempest is not a muscle car. But a 389 or 400 GTO is. Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, Challenger, Baracuda, 'cuda, Javelin, AMX are all pony cars. Even with a Boss 429 or Street Hemi. Still a pony car, not a muscle car. Impalas are full-size cars, so can't technically be muscle cars. Riviera and Monte Carlo are too expensive or too fancy. And so on.
Yeah I'll surely go with that stuff. And nope. No car yet, I'm actually gonna wait a few months so I can pay for it in cash. It's not gonna be easy not having a toy for a few months, but not having a car payment will make it worth it. BUT, if the "right" one came along I wouldn't pass it up.
Nah, man I was just messin, they TECHNICALLY arent muscle cars. However, in this forum, I am always glad to see a beautiful older vette. Its a great looking car, just not a "muscle" car.
I need to take it easy for a bit. My year is not the greatest right now and I already have plans to replace the head unit with an in-dash GPS. I definitely have to shut it all down after that. I might even wait to change out the radio if my month doesn't start improving. Sucks, but what can you do? Quite happy with this. About 95% perfect except for the radio and it rides harsher than what I'm used to. RMX
Very nice looking! What got me a chuckle is the last pic, you can see the logo of a client of mine on the building in the background! I need a vacation!
The squeak is a knowen problem with that year z51. I would sugest some carbotech bobcat 1521 pads, They are a low dusting performance pad. http://www.ampdautosport.com/servlet/StoreFront
Yup, I was thinking 2007 because a friend got a early '08 in '07. The LS3 is a nice improvement over the LS2. I've driven both, night and day.
