    ....and so far, no one has said Jesus Christ. In fact, every time I have ever been a party to this discussion, no one ever does.

    Think about that.................

    I was going to, but figured someone would a) say it doesn't include fictional characters, b) call me a religious whacko, or c) otherwise mock my faith (see other recent religious threads). so I didn't bother.

    oh, and I have eternity to hang with JC.

    Lunch with JC would probably be boring as sh*t!

    Rather hang with Leno.

    I can think of many, but came into this thread as I was looking at some history things and Captain Correa was the subject then, so I guess him right now.
    In my mother's side ancestry, Capitán Antonio de los Reyes Correa Rodríguez de Valdéz of Portuguese descend from father's side and Spaniard from his mothers, but she was born in Arecibo not Spain. Also the Correa family ties with the one and only Don Cristobal Colón family known here as "Christopher Colombus".

    He was given the "Gold Medal of the Royal Image" by king Philip V of Spain after an attack to in August 5, 1702 in Arecibo on which he fought an attack by two British warships. He defeated the british attack and he himself killed the British captain of the troops that landed, they were out numbered and had inferior weapons of spears, machetes and knifes against swords and muskets!

    There are many I would like to go back in time and talk to including my father's side which has also had some part in history. They also founded the Mayarí town in Cuba and they still were into politics and Braulio Lecusay was the last Mayor of Mayarí when Castro took over. They also were neighbors of the Castro family.

    Portrait of Captain Correa.

    The only reason I didn't say JC is because I don't understand Aramaic.

    Wow you hit a bunch of good ones! I'd add John Wayne, Ghandi, The Dahli Lhama, Rommel, Adolf(just curious to see how crazy he was in person), Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Steve McQueen, Michaelangelo and DaVinci, George Washington, Lincoln, Caesar, Schumy, King Henry VIII, Eisenhower, Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, and a bunch of hot movie star women of which that list would be pages long....

    I'm not sure there's any mystery to it... then we would get into whether or not he is real, would be willing, stuff like that.

    I thought of a couple more for my pool;

    Ernest Shackleton

    Pontius Pilate

    Newt Gingrich

    Col. Sanders

    Joni Eareckson Tada

    Napoleon Bonaparte

    And the list goes on...

    Shiny Side Up!

    Assuming translation not a problem;

    #1 Jesus.

    #2 Da Vinci.

    If English;

    #1 George Washington

    # 2 Tesla. (Edison was great for stealing ideas and marketing them, not creation.)

    Choosing one is tough. I would have to say my Uncle Bill he was a green baret and died in Vietnam before I was born. My father was real close to him growing up. I would like to meet the man I have heard so many stories about.

    If it had to be somebody famous I would have to go with Howard Hughes.
