Need sum Help whit a F430 F1 Can System problem.

    Hi

    Need sum Help whit a F430 F1 C-Can System problem.

    We in service we have Lamborghinis, Maseratis and Ferrari I have newer hat that kind of problem before !!!
    The DX have a K-Line -C- Contact error I have tested the 120 Ohm is OK what else can I test on the K- line ?

    and the Problem is on the K-Line and the slow down light is on now to ...

    Is that not outlined in the W/S manual?

    When I get a chance I'll check the 360 W/S manual

    Not seeing any specific reference to the CAN system in the W/S manual Section H 1.05 starting on page 356.

    I see regular references to SD/2. and: "errors detected by the ECU are the following--- CAN is therein listed"

    So I'd expect you'd have to look into the F1 system in the W/S manual as well - Sec D 6.01 page 68 2nd book of W/S manual.

    Costumer complain is that the Slow down light will com one and the car will not go to the 3. gear ? is in the Save mode .

    There is No Error stored in the TCU the for that inset All Nodes have sum stupid error's all over ??? I know many of them are false Codes ...

    It is usually caused by a control unit tied to the can line. Given the resources Ferrari provides there is no way to know for sure which one. You need to determine which systems are sharing that can line go to each one with the SD3 and check for and erase errors. Often but not always the system whose error cannot be erased is at fault.

    At the very least Antifurto, Motronic, ABS/ASR is on that can and I have had all 3 cause it at various times. Sometimes it spreads like a virus depending on what caused it in the first place and require replacement of more than one unit. In my experience it is most often caused by jumping the battery or incorrectly charging it.
