    Btw,I have to pay $55k a year on just my house alone.

    Took the Ducati out for drive on 4/17 down Butterfield road-Yikes(talk about staying alert)-although no MAJOR potholes,I truely felt like at any moment it was possible that I could have been thrown off the bike-be careful out there everyone(city n the burbs!!)

    I too was victim a few months ago, had to get one of my Blizzaks replaced back in December. Those tires were virtually new! :(

    I hit a water filled pothole that must have had a piece of rebar exposed at ~70. Poked a hole in the brake drum and bent the brake backing plate. Good thing it was the mini-van.
    This happened essentially in front of the DOT maint facility on 355 near Elk Grove.
    My mother in law from Austria compared our roads to Romania.

    Seriously... imagine picketing... the story would be "rich guys upset because their cream puff expensive cars got a scratch"
    Maybe we should all get 12 inch rims, with tires with a 200mm profile... that might be the ticket!
