So, it appears that the RedBulls are fast but may be fragile this race http://www.itv-f1.com/news_article.aspx?id=45605 "Sebastian Vettel has admitted that he is no idea if the driveshaft problem that limited his mileage in Shanghai qualifying will be cured in time for the race. A seal issue stopped both Vettel and Mark Webber in practice this morning, and then reoccurred on Vettel's car in qualifying." We'll know in just under 9 hours!
So can they work on the car between quali and the race? I thought park ferme stopped them from working on the car.
I was reading this on another forum - it definitely explains Alonso's weight and grid position (unfortunately, it didn't show any other drivers than those below) (thank you BBC) BBC'S SPORT'S FUEL-ADJUSTED GRID (with projected race first pit stops*) 1 Barrichello (lap 16) 2 Button (lap 15) 3 Trulli (lap 16) 4 Vettel (lap 10) 5 Webber (lap 11) 6 Alonso (lap 8/9) 7 Raikkonen (lap 19) 8 Rosberg (lap 12) 9 Hamilton (lap 20) 10 Buemi (lap 19) * Calculated on the weight of fuel left in cars after qualifying had finished * * * * Carol
According to AUTOSPORT, they are predicting rain, so if they are allowed to change to the intermediate or full wets at the start of the race, don't they also get to change their fuel loads as well?
Alright guys I'm here in Tennessee trying to stay awake for the F1 race. Lord knows if I'll make it LOL. My DVR is set just in case.
No I don't believe so, they do get a chance to change the rubber though. I don't think they can change the amout of wing they have on the car either.
I'm usually a night owl but I will be glad when we get back to Europe. With Bernie and his "late starts" it just serves to make it super late here on the E. Coast. It sucks when the race doesn't even *start* until 3am!
I'm missing the vermouth so I'm just drinking Gin and lime rather than a martini. Red bull just screws with my stomache to much to mix. I'm hoping Webber wins the Silverstone race though. Which Silverstone is more like China than the other two tracks we've been too. I just hate trying to drive turn 1-4 at china. Anyone watching Formula One Debrief on Speed?
Think so? # Heavy Rain # Max: 19°C 66°F # Wind: SSE 18mph # Hum: 90% # Press: 1011mB # Vis: Poor http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/1713
do you guys know where to watch it online? Or it would be awesome, if someone could pass the passcode to the VIP_racing link
